6. WHO TUMBLEWEED SHARES YOUR INFORMATION WITH

  • Shopify: a platform where our website is hosted. The Shopify platform facilitates the provision of our products and services to you. Shopify is responsible for storing any Personal Information you may share with us including your credit/debit card details. It fully complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI-DSS”). The PCI-DSS is a joint effort of direct payment gateways such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Any payment information collected by Shopify is kept on the platform for as long as your purchase is in progress. Once your purchase is done and the transaction is completed, all information relating to the transaction is deleted. Note that our Service Providers have signed a confidentiality agreement and will not be using your information for any other activities different from the task we have given them.

Legal reasons and rights protection: We may share your information under the law if sharing it will prevent illegal activities such as fraud, crime, and other wrongful acts. Sharing your information under a legal reason may be to respond to a subpoena, court order, and requests from government agencies. Note that we will not share your information with any government agency or court unless the request is genuine and signed in writing.

Company transfer/bankruptcy: Company transfer could be in the form of a merger, acquisition, or consolidation between Tumbleweed and a third party entity.     Shopify is one of our Service Providers in which our website is hosted on. The Shopify platform facilitates the provision of our products and services to you.     The website and our Services are available to users that are 18 years of age and above (16 years for EU users). Tumbleweed does not intentionally collect information from anyone under the age of 18 through this Site. If we become aware that a user who does not meet our age requirement submits Personal Information to us, we will have their user account terminated without liability.
